Finalmente elimin\u00e9 el acento. No quer\u00eda recordar nada del espa\u00f1ol... pues, estaba muy avergonzada. En el restaurante mis padres contrataron a muchos inmigrantes y\u2026. por alguna extra\u00f1a raz\u00f3n, subliminalmente, este reapareci\u00f3. Era la \u00fanica forma que pod\u00eda comunicarme con los cocineros. Este volvi\u00f3. Y pens\u00e9: est\u00e1 bien.  Ya no estaba avergonzada. Pens\u00e9: esto es bueno, \u00bfsabes?. Y los cocineros se sent\u00edan c\u00f3modos con la ni\u00f1a mocosa que corr\u00eda. Muchos de los hispanos en la comunidad no hablan espa\u00f1ol y especialmente m\u00e1s en ese tiempo. Todos mis primos crecieron en Planeview y de los cuatro nadie habla espa\u00f1ol. Luego se casaron y se fueron.
